Have you used Keystone Winter Peas before? If so, how did they do?
Nope. This is my first time. I have always used Austrian winter peas in the past but Keystones are supposed to be sweeter and mor palatable. Figured I’d give them a try.
I put a few pounds down (in a Johnston Seed mix). If they sprout, they may get browsed before they get big enough to grow.
I can tell it rained because the trail cam showed reflections from falling rain. Never saw a puddle so, it didn't rain much yet.
Mesonet says I got 1.25” at Bristow but to see the water running last night and the puddles this morning, I’d bet I got 2+. More coming Saturday night through Monday.
About the same in weleetka. May not have gotten 2" but it came down hard early this morning but didn't last long.
1.25" last night. Most of the heavy rain was sideways in the wind, so suspect a tad more, but we had only one big limb come down. Right by the shop, so the saw can get it cut up and put up for the double barrel stove when it gets cold.
We got home in the middle of the worst part of the storm almost getting blown off the Salt Fork Bridge on HWY 177 at 35 mph. Crazy wind.
What is interesting is that we live on a ridge. Fully expected our gravel road to be washed out this morning, but there was zero runoff from the rain. It's been that dry.
The next few days in NC and NE Okla are predicted to bring 3"-8" of rain. The bigger number in the Tulsa area from the weather reports tonight. That will bring some flooding.

Update, Even with the rain, I was working on the son's privacy fence that got blown down the other day with the heavy winds. We had to move some dirt that was almost mud, but 3" down it was still bone dry.
