Oh yes snow is great for freshly top dressed food plot. The snow we had on Christmas did great for moisture but I didn't have any fertilizer down.
The snow would sure help my pre emergent block the Spring crop of sandburrs
According to KFOR, the snow is to be in the OKC area and west. Mine, and Okie4570's area appears to be in the low probablility area.
I put $180 of pre emergent on my yard in anticipation of the last forcasted rainfall. I've ran sprinklers and a traveling sprinkler for 2 days now. We didn't get enough to dissolve the preemergent. About a week from now, I'll get it watered in. Thank God for a water well.

Yup, I have plenty of well water.
Looks like most of the food plots are going to get a drink for a couple of days. I hope Canton Lake gets a shot in the arm too.
If Canton gets a shot in the arm, do you wanna bet that the greedy bastards on the OKC water utility board say to keep the gate open that much longer?
