It may be time to take advantage of the numerous after Christmas bullet and loaded ammo sales going on right now. And buy in bulk. China has recently banned export of Antimony to the USA.

Antimony is the major alloying agent for hardening lead. Less Antimony on the market will most probably force the price of alloyed lead (and thus bullets) to get more expensive within the very near future.

I think most jacketed projectiles use a pure lead core. As for casting, yes you need to harden it up a bit but I don't think there are near as many casters as there are reloaders.

Good read. Glad I stockpiled lots and lots of lead and Monotype/Linotype.

At leat, Pe do Joe has sent plenty of ammo to Ukraine.

WWIII is looming. China is preparing and we are 4 years or more behind.

I think this is the calm before the storm.
Most of my reloading acquaintances are buying extra componenets right now. Stuff that is available at good prices.
Get it while you can.
I've Almost sold most of my brass.
