Had the giant MicroTech single-action....if you want an out the front auto that is dependable, it is THE way to go...great snag, there, them thangs ain't cheap.
The Hydra is a single-action OTF auto—the springs only open the blade, they don’t retract it. That’s the “handle” to retract the blade.

And they fire a lot harder than that big guy in the video lets on...A DA auto (which also retracts) is whimpy and mainly coasts open, lucky to perforate a paper bag which bag strike will stop it shy of locking open, while the SA auto is powerful and can perforate cardboard or you....not like a ballistic knife with even stronger spring, but, nothing to trifle with, and they work when dirty...very dependable type, only "downside" being two hands to close.

Don’t know if it qualifies as a collection, but got into building scales for commercial knife blanks.
The majority are from stone which makes them somewhat unique possibly?
Decided to make some from wood in the next project.
The Danged wood cost as much as the knife blanks, but once again, hand built.
Finally the McCrosky collection of the trapper set and elk skinner.
