I remember seeing 525 packs for what I think was like $5-8 dollars, and I was like "Bah...I'll buy ONE..because, I mean, you can always get 22LR!"
I remember when you couldn't swing a dead cat, without knocking some ammo off of a shelf. They sold it with the penny candy in little gas station stores around Choctaw, when I was growing up.

I miss $5 boxes of clays, $30 cases of Remington target load, $15 boxes of 550 rds of .22. I could go on and on. It just gets incredibly depressing, so I try not to think about while I'm signing over my children's souls, so we can shoot for the weekend.
