I sent this to my wife, and she told me it was “sweet” when she read the first ones but gave me a dirty look on the last one. Like I might actually come home with a rehomed dog or a litter of kittens to bottle feed.

@retrieverman I'm so sorry for your loss. I used to say that about Jackie, my first GSD. But I've been lucky enough to be loved by so many dogs that I have learned that each of them had some "thing" that made them "that" dog. Maybe I'm not as tough as I think I am ...
