Wouldn't it be easier for everyone if we just recognized and upheld the 2nd Amendment??

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"

It would be easier for the ordinary citizens for sure. It would create problems though for the government that we as citizens are obligated to make life easier for. Why even have citizens if not to serve their government?
