SoonerTactical is proud to announce free weapons carry classes to business owners who have "gun buster" signage in their retail locations.
If you successfully complete an OSBI Certified Weapons Carry class from Sooner Tactical and agree to take down your sign, the class is free, and we will advertise your business on our website as a business which removed the sign and be a proud supporter of our Oklahoma Self Defense Act. You will be able to post comments on the site about your experience in the class, identify your business as a proud supporter of fundamental rights as an American and an Oklahoman, and advertise directly through our site to a niche market.
If you take our OSBI Certified Weapons Carry class and do not decide to take the sign down, your class is still free, we tried. You will still be allowed to post comments on the site about your reasoning for not taking down the sign without any hard feelings.
This special business owner only class will be offered 4 times a year at a minimum but space will be limited.
Currently the classes are scheduled for:
Q1 = March 2nd
Q2 = June 1st
Q3 = September 7th
Q4 = December 7th
Requirements for the class are simple:
1. You are a verifiable Business owner in Oklahoma with a Gun Buster sign currently posted.
2. You have a physical presence and offer face-to-face customer experience in Oklahoma.
3. You will take the class with an open mind and willing to consider removing your sign at the end of the class, only if convinced.
The class will be totally free, without any hidden costs of any kind because this is done totally as a community service to increase knowledge of lawful gun ownership. You do not even need to own a handgun. If you do not own a handgun, one will be provided as well as the ammunition for class. If you choose to bring your own handgun, please bring ammunition.
The goal of this class is to educate and inform business owners as to the extent of training and background checks that a Weapons Carry person in Oklahoma must go through to legally carry a weapon.
The motivation behind this initiative is simply this: We are trying to increase your sales and the number of options we as firearms carriers have to do business with. By putting up your signs, you are potentially reducing your customer base by as much as 10 % or more, impacting your revenue from a very loyal market.
Give us the opportunity to change your mind. If you agree, great, we have succeeded in our goal. If we are unable to change your mind, no hard feelings, we tried. We know it is not for everyone, but give us a chance.
