Certainly not for the Caribbean cruises. However, we did an Alaskan cruise and land tour in 2005 and really enjoyed it, mostly because of the variety of scenery and other shipping along the Inside Passage between Vancouver, BC and Alaska.

That said, if I were to go to Alaska again, I'd just fly up and either rent a car and use hotels or rent an RV and go wherever I wanted to go. (The land tour was all planned out for us.)

After four cruises on aircraft carriers, large ships have lost their glamor for me. However, I am registered at GovX. I'll just have to see how next year goes.
