He just coiled up on my fingers. Wasn't aggressive at all. Found him looking around under the sink in the utility room off the garage.

No wrong color. Since he is in Muskogee I am going with the local variety of kingsnake. Non-poisonous and good to have around for rat and mouse control.

It's a juvenile Great Plains rat snake.
Look at its head shape and eye shape. Non poisenous.

That is what I was going to say, V shape head means poisonous. Well you got a free pet, cool.
Even non venomous snake bites can be nasty. I didn't know how friendly he would be when I picked him up.
I don't kill snakes unless it's a venomous one close to my house, or someone else's.

You dont have to convince me I know. I have 3 snakes and my Boa while usually docile and easy going can still try to get you every now and then.
