I was told by a friend in California that the ATF has outlawed FRT trigger for AR, yet I can find them online from $300 up. Anybody have a thought on this?
May be a California law but I don't think ATF has done anything

It appears that it all depends on how the FRT Trigger operates.

So, you just don't want to be caught using one which is a long shot (pun) unless you're committing a crime or you're just unlicky.
