Ya, thats a good trick.. makes all of em look about 15 pounds..

We brought 100 shad with us, but did net 15 or so over in a creek after we ran out... We went looking for bait just to see if we could get any..

Which ramp are you talking about?? We saw shad flipping in open water also, and saw quite a few on the sonar..


Everyone we seen that was fishing for them was catching them.. One guy had 4 guys in a boat slabbing for them and caught em.. The other was fishing off a point near where we were and was down lining shad and they were killing them..

If me and my buddy dont have luck slabbing for them at altus lugert tomorrow we may pack up camp and go to ft cobb friday and saturday. How hard is it to learn the lake and where some good spots are? follow the boats lol?
