Time to wrap in stainless steel foil and go to heat treat

Temper once at 500'F for two hours, then into the liquid nitrogen at -300'F for 8 hours followed by two more temper cycles.

My one attempt at a tanto was pretty weak. For an "American" tanto, the front tip has to be flat ground and the main bevel hollow ground.

I've not done enough of them yet to be any good.

I've got a different colors of G10 laminated up for handle marerial...

This was a combination of brown/tan G10 with the addition of a thick black G10 liner.

Hats off to the guys at Point Seven studios - rumor has it this knife will be in Tactical Knives magazine.
