Another opener problem... I put a halogen bulb in the opener. Worked fine for a few days, and then opened the door and shortly there after the bulb exploded. Ant ideas?
Vibration maybe.
or if you put the cover back over the bulb, maybe it got too hot also, plus the vibration.
I had a light bulb blow up on me a couple years ago in my garage, (I don't have a automatic door opener),
It kinda scared me cause I was walking towards it when it happened.
Ended up with a 1/4 inch hole right through it as if it had been shot. No idea how that happened.
