Call a pro look for a smaller advertisement in the yellow pages. Probably give you a better deal from the mom and pops. Shouldnt be more than a couple hundred bucks I wouldnt think.

Thanks....i am planning on calling someone tomorrow...
What should this cost?

I had dual ones replaced on my large garage door last week. It was $165 total for both springs and the labor. Might as well replace both since if one breaks, the other is likely to go soon as well.

My garage door guy told me to sray some oil on them every so often. This will keep them from binding up and stressing them out. I do it evry couple of months or so . Basicly whenever I can remember.

Call Trotter overhead door in Edmond at 1708 South Kelly and ask for Jesse. Tell him Larry Wimmer sent you and he will take good care of you for a good price.

I had one break about a month ago. Mine are the center mounted style spring and I also went ahead and had them replace both of them. Cost $165.00 installed and took him about 30 minutes.

What is with all the weak garage door springs ?
