Storing potatoes need to be in a cool dark place . Do not wash the dirt off. New potatoes have soft skin . Scrubbing them will remove the protective skin and allow bacteria in.

Where do you find a cool dark place in Oklahoma summers since most don't have root cellars around these parts?

Still get good cuts of broccoli florets daily and none of onions have bolted or 15-20 % folded on their own yet. But had to pick a few. Potatoes are still green enough to wait for a few days.

Picked a few blueberries this morning

Harvested some potatoes this morning. How do you all store them? I have a couple more buckets to harvest beyond this one. This is my first year growing potatoes. Pretty happy with the results so far!
