Harvested some potatoes this morning. How do you all store them? I have a couple more buckets to harvest beyond this one. This is my first year growing potatoes. Pretty happy with the results so far!View attachment 485421
Unwashed!
Leave them in a cool dark place, away from onions. I usually use cardboard boxes, but paper bags or burlap bags will work too. Long term storage you can pressure can or dehydrate them.

You have rabbiteye or high bush? I want to put a couple in next year.
Rabbit eye. I've had these for about 14 years. Planted about 2" tall and some are about 6' tall now. I don't remember what varieties they were. I had 5 different ones. I ordered them as plugs and minimum order was 100. Drought and grass took some out.

Started pulling onions last week. This is about half she has planted. Can't wait for the tomatoes and jalapenos coming along fine.

Picked a few tomatoes. The large green one is actually ripe. It's an Aunt ruby German green. The yellow are lemon boy. No they don't taste like a lemon.View attachment 485866View attachment 485867
Mine are yellowing on the leaves and turning brown and crunchy. I’ve read this could be a potassium deficiency. Any particular products you guys use to keep the K levels up?
