No kidding! I talked to the guy, he's a local kid, he said he'd been jumping off the bridge since he was 8! He asked me if I was planning on jumping...I passed
Did the bridge jumping move back in highschool. Jumping in January wasn't smart. Lots of Christmas trees. Jumping in February wasn't smart. Really really really cold. Jumping in mid summer was fun but I found a broken bottle on the bottom and made a nice gash in the bottom of my foot. last time for me.
Some of my friends wanted to go jump off the old, now closed to car traffic, Route 66 bridge over the canal on Lake Overholser. one guy jumped and they realized the water was not that deep. Somehow he walked away without any injuries.
I'll leave bridge jumping to the young. I know 29 is not young but much older than 19. or should I say smarter?
OMG I grew up at coopers bridge, I even Broke my tailbone jumping off that bridge. I have many jumps from that bridge myself. including when the water was stupid Low (hence the broken tailbone)
