Good question… seems the atf feels they’re above the law and can’t sight how many too many.

"When the Amish start "Packing" were in trouble."

That right there says it all about the direction were heading.
So if I owned guns and wanted to liquidate part of the guns I own how many can i sell legally and in what time frame? Best of my recollection there is no stated limit and say I'm not selling for profit just recouping my investment so now how many can I sell? It has always been a grey area.

This story is confusing on a lot of levels. Maybe he is part of that "Amish Mafia." as seen on TV. Otherwise 600 guns is a lot of money tied up for an Amish dairy farmer.

Don't know the rule now but years ago Pennsylvania did not allow semi-auto rifles for deer hunting.
(You could own them, just not hunt Bambi with them.)
The Remington pump action rifle (like the model 760 Gamemaster) was jokingly called "the Amish automatic."
Maybe the ATF got confused about all that.
