I'm sitting in bed unable to sleep as usual and it sounds like my wife is growling. Her allergies are getting almost as bad as mine lately and I'm trying not to laugh to loud as to wake her up....That's all...

Any of your significant others make weird/funny noises when they sleep?

My ex-wife used to snore so bad I'd have to elbow her in the head to get her to shut up....;)

If she is growling, look to see if her leg is kicking. She may be dreaming about chasing a rabbit or something. :w000t:

Lol Actually the other night I woke up to her flailing about like a crazy person. Turns out she was dreaming about running from someone...She kicks me a lot too. I also have a California King, but sometimes it just ain't big enough.

No funny stories here about the wife, because I am the snorer in the relationship. I started using the T.A.P. device that is fitted by a dentist. It's an upper and lower mouth guard. The idea is to move the lower jaw forward to open the airway and reduce snoring. I have used PureSleep brand through the internet, but the dentist version is much better. It reduces my snoring, gives me more restful sleep, and makes my wife much happier. I think I get punched less in the night too :comfort: There are also medical advantages of taking care of snoring: potentially lower blood pressure, reduced fatigue, reduced cardio health risks, etc.

I had an ex-girlfriend that wouldn't believe that she snored (on occasion). I wound up recording her and playing it back - was *not* appreciated (thinking back, not a whole lot was...). If I'm exhausted (or sleeping without a pillow) I tend to snore pretty bad. Same girlfriend used to give me occasional bruises from kicking me to try to get me to stop. I don't bruise easy...

Get off my lawn.
We just got a new king and got rid of our cal king. Sheets are cheaper, and you have a much larger selection. Should get new box springs with the mattress. Should fit in the same bed frame though. We have a lot more room with the king. That 4" makes a huge difference when the dog comes crawling up into bed.
