The looper is great for the money. But pretty much any dedicated gun belt will do wonders over a soft leather or other pants belt.

Looper for leather, or take a look at the Wilderness Belt; I like the 5-stitch myself, and so do a bunch of other people. No holes; uses Velcro to stick so you're able to custom tighten/loosen as needed.

I using a Safariland belt. It's about $40 give or take.

I have a black and a brown Looper belt. They have replaced almost every other belt I had. Even when I am not carrying a gun, which is not often. They are nice enough to wear with most pants/dress clothes as well as jeans.

The only other belt that I wear is a nylon/kydex 5.11 when I don't want a leather belt.

Beltman works for me. It's carrying a full size 1911, a 357 LCR and Ka-Bar TDI blade today with no problems.
