Running out of room in my safe. Thinking about the rods that Velcro to the bottom of the shelf. Would take built in racks out to use them. Does anyone use them? If so, how do you like them. Pros, cons? Would rather find solution other than buying bigger safe. Help, how can this be moved to general discussions. Tried to just erase and start over but nope didn’t work.

Yes, I use them in one of my safes. I do like them a lot. They give me a lot more options of how I put my rifles in the safe and because of this, I can get more rifles in the safe compared to using the stock built in rack.
Only con I have found is that you have to be a lot more careful putting your rifles in and taking them out. It‘s easier to bang them against each other with the rods.

Got the rods a couple days ago. Re-arranged the safe. Looks good. Do know already is better getting something from the back. Only have to move a couple now instead of everything else on that side of safe. Can probably get a third more long guns in now. Already had pistol hangers so they are a little different now but will work. Thanks for all input.

Two before and two after. Shorter ones on right on shelf so gained a little storage on floor. Pulled one in back left corner out to see how much knocking around in the process. Little tight but only had to move two in front instead of five or six. Didn’t have to take those completely out. Just moved in front of others and stick rod up. No knocking into others. Wife asked if doing so I could buy more and I just smiled. Probably can get six more now.

I bought some of them almost a year ago and haven't taken them out of the package yet. Guess I need to.
