That's a cool collection. I've spend a lot of time going through Hallicrafters, Collins, etc WWII gear in the past and it's an absolute pleasure to work on such beautifully crafted equipment.

Collins used to buy their frequency crystals from my Grandfather/Father's company, International Crystal Mfg. Likely some are in that stuff.
Nice. I bought several crystals from ICM. This was many years (decades) ago. They were somewhere in the downtown area. It's real shame they are not around anymore.

My grandad swept floors at the Collin’s Radio facility in Cedar Rapids, IA. He farmed during the day and the janitor gig helped pay the bills. My mom’s brother was a technical writer for them in the 50’s.
