Face down palms up! They will turn palms down if getting up.

Hands fully extended above their head, facing away from you. Ankles crossed also makes them less mobile. Take every advantage to securing your safety that you can get.

There's more to it than what you see on TV.

I would say 99.9% of all the fights I've had were during the cuffing process.

Leave the cuffing to the cops. We know how to do it...you don't.

Cuffing a BG is one of the most dangerous things even a cop can do. I dont like to do it without at least one other person who knows what they are doing acting acting as over watch.

Just keep em covered and at the most disadvantage u can without getting to close urself.
