having a lot of trouble deciding between the Sig P220 and the HK VP9... both feel great, both shoot very well, both optics ready

anyone have any experience with both and have opinions?

My vote is Sig, but that’s because I prefer hammer fired pistols. For a striker fired pistol, the vp9 is a great choice.

If it's a toss up for you, and it would be for me (both good weapons in my experience), just do eeny meeny.

My first handgun was an HK, so I have a soft spot.

Well the p220 is a da/sa, hammer fired, 45 cal, aluminum frame, single stack pistol.
The VP9 is a 9mm, striker fired, polymer framed hi cap. I really like it also.

I don't have a P220, but I do have a P229 and a VP9. I carry them both (not at the same time). I don't think you can go wrong with either.
