Gun Tests gave it an A-, which is real good - coming from them. I've had this one 6 years, and it's my go to. My Glock is my primary. But the bulldog is in my pocket. I have shot 25 or so Grizzly 260 grain cast flat nose rated at 1000fps through it, but those are real hand spankers. The Buffalo Bore Cowboy Action 240 grain are fine to practice with, and I've shot Glasers and DPx through it. Never had a problem. I've got over 800 empties and it just hasn't had a problem yet. Accuracy is on par with snubbies. But I consider it insurance against close encounters. It would buy me time to get my glock from the iwb.
