Yes. A jump up to a 308 sizer solved the problem almost completely. a Re-lube in LAL solved it altogether. The pistols came home dirty, but zero leading.

Flat Top shared his '73 with me Saturday and I ran his Marlin Sunday until we had to leave early - both with his ammo. He explained how very specific you have to be with OAL in a slicked up CAS rifle. My loaded rounds were much too short for his rifles.

Did have one small feed issue with the 73 on the last stage but it looked to be just a dirty rifle. the round underfed the carrier. Had several folks rush up to help get the rifle going so I could finish. My guess is that with both of us shooting it, we doubled how dirty it got and it decided it was done for the day. Good thing it was on the last stage.

Were you out there? With all the fussin' about to get ready to shoot my first match I didn't even THINK to ask if you were out there.
