Looks like I drew Burkhart for my first visit.
I see Kumar and occasionally Carson, both are excellent as are the PAs. Unfortunately if you need pain meds, you will have to come in once a month to be seen. That basically is what it amounts to, they just have to physically lay eyes on you but it still counts as a visit with copay.

I'm looking for them to fix this problem not looking to just treat it with pain meds.

Depends on what you're talking about. Damage from arthritis isn't reversible, wish it was, but they can refer you to ortho to replace a joint. Best the docs at OAC can do is stop new damage from happening, via immunosuppression. I'm on Orencia once a week along with the max dose of methotrexate (chemotherapy med). It has mostly stopped the damage from the rheumatoid arthritis, but that isn't my only autoimmune disorder, unfortunately. I still have psoriatic arthritis and Sjogren's to deal with. I have so far been able to refuse oral steroids, but the day is coming that I will need them. I do use a steroid cream on the psoriasis outbreaks.

Good luck and I hope you get what you want from OAC.

According to the Mesonet, over the past four days(1-16 to 1-20) the barometric pressure has gone down approximately one inch of mercury and has then risen over one inch of mercury. Just a change of half inch of mercury is considered to be significant. It is known that changes in barometric pressure has an effect on arthritic aches and pains so this one drop then rise might be the reason for your hurting.

Click for the five(5) day Duration then scroll down for the barometric pressure graph
Yep big time and the pain meds aren't working....

Saw the doctor today. Bloodwork/x rays and meds (Steroids and malaria meds). Told her if she can keep the pain to around a 7 on their scale with these I can deal with it. Didn't want the painkillers.

There is a new NSAID out Journavx, that might be of interest to you. I can't imagine it being cheap, but it's something to think about.

I'm confused and yes red I know I'm confused a lot but isn't this the handgun section?

I’ll admit that I had trouble deciding on where to post this info. I thought about it for while before coming to this conclusion. Isn’t one of the major complaints of mainly older handgun enthusiasts and sometimes long gun enthusiasts arthritic pain? And now here we are. 😉
