Wow, I guess I must be one of the few that likes Willie's singing. Granted not every song, but most. Seven Spanish Angels wouldn't have been the same without Willie on the track. That was very smart of Ray Charles to include him on it, he brought in a whole other music culture with that.

One of my all time favorites songs. I've thought about getting a pin up style back piece tattoo of a female cowgirl holding a smoking rifle kneeled over a downed cowboy. I may still do it someday.

Actually, a similarly sad song was "Feleena" by Marty Robbins. It tells the story of the girl in the song "El Paso."

The last lines are like 7 Spanish Angels...

RicKN, if you were deaf, like I am you would be glad to hear any song. My computer monitor hears better than I do. The world is silent I don't even know what the songs you guys are talking about sound like.
