I had my first minor issue with the thermal this evening. I had a coyote that wouldn’t stop, and as I was leading him and pulled the trigger the scope “recalibrated” which effectively stops the image, and when it “cleared”, the coyote was spinning and running off. I’m pretty sure I hit him in the hindquarter, and though he’s more than likely going to die, I don’t like not making a clean kill. I’ve since figured out how to adjust the calibration schedule and should eliminate this situation.
