Help identify snakes!

I saw one of them snakes today.

Funny thing is... I was walking to my truck from the barn and the dogs were right there with me and I saw it before the dogs..... I stopped (made sure it wasn't a rattler) then walked around it and had to warn the awsome guard dogs as they were following me. The look on their faces after they finally noticed it(after I made a half circle around snake) was hey look there is a snake do you see this snake, what do we do?

Pointed tail, round eyes = non-poisonous.

After careful examination of the original photos, I can most assuredly say...

First snake: THE DEBIL!
Second snake: ALSO THE DEBIL!

I must be doing it all wrong. Last summer I caught a small snake in my kitchen. Caught it and let it go out back in a rat hole. He seemed very happy to be there.
