Teaching the wife and kids to shoot is great, quality time with the family is priceless and creates many mermories.
Word of warning if you teach them right at first, not having previous acquired bad habits they may out shoot you. After teaching my wife to shoot pistols I do not wont her pissed at me, she can shoot.
