A friend recieved a .22 Savage Hi Power take down after his grandpa passed away. It had the original purchace reciept and a reciept from a gunsmith who had done something to the trigger, they were rolled up in the stock along with one round of .22SHP ammo, that was rolled up in tp, to keep it from rattling I guess.

I hide a couple of cigs and some matches in the tube of my FR8. I always figured if I got lost or stranded somewhere I could start smoking again to pass the time.

I keep a rolled up $20 in the sixth chamber on my single actions. For the undertaker, in case I need a pine box. Also helps to remember to only load five......

I used to keep 5 or 6 lose rounds in the buttstock of my colt sporter hbar.....but I sold it I keep the ammo.

I always just keep track of serials. But I have been known to hide cash in my safe.

I try to keep a wad of 'she money' hidden away too.
