If the libs think a 10 rounder is all you need, get a 10 round single stack mag for a 1911 plus one in the chamber makes it high capacity in their warped thinking. I carry my .45 with a 10 round extended mag on occasion.
I like the looks of flush mount mags better but with me having champagne tastes but a cheap beer wallet it looks like a extended mag may be the only way to go.......unless.
RIA makes a double stack for right around $770.00 (plus tax, shipping and FFL fees) which may be a way for me to go if I can't talk myself out of a double stack......I haven't checked but I would imagine spare mags will be a RIA exclusive and probably kinda expensive.
My one and only 9mm handgun is a RIA 1911 and so far with around 600 rounds ran through it I've not experienced any problems whatsoever with it functioning so I'm not afraid of the RIA brand and from what I've read on other forums they do have excellent warranty / customer support.
Maybe I need to do a little more pondering on this whole double stack thing before I take the leap.
