Good thing, that's undoubtedly a fully automatic barnacle encrusted firearm. It could kill hundreds in just seconds.
Yeah, someone might have thrown it and hit someone.
I think the pistol used to be a H&R American before it turned into a glob of rust.
Phhttttt..... some 4 aught steel wool and WD-40 will get that piece right back into the fight.

A lot of pistols like that had a U rather than T shaped locking notch on the cylinder and don't fully lock the cylinder. In general, I would be reluctant to fire one because the cylinder is not fully locked in battery.
In this case, the rust locked cylinder is probably the only thing it has going for it.
I challenge this group to provide a convincing argument that taking a relic like that off the streets made anyone safer or was proper stewardship of Canadian tax dollars.
