In a SHTF situation could you use the Hilti .22 shot cartridges to propell a projectile of some kind as long as you didn't exceed around 40gr projectile?

No, I havent and didnt even know they made them.
They come in different color boxes with each color being a different power level.

Yep, I have had one of these for retreiver training for years. Fires .22 blanks of varying power levels. Can use the Hilti blanks. The projectile dummy is like a small, heavy football. Launches up to 200 feet. I'd sure as hell hate to get shot with it.

I use em in a concrete nailer. If they can drive a fastener into concrete, I'm pretty sure they could be adapted to fire a projectile.
