My buddy and i have been trying to convince farmers to let us take care of their hogs with no luck. Im thinking about checking out public hunting areas.

Offer to help them out on the farm in exchange for a couple of hunts sometime and offer to give them some of the meat if you shoot one. Gotta build a relationship.

asking to hunt on someone elses property is like asking for the keys to their house. if you get permission, consider yourself VERY lucky, and take every precaution to take care of it. the reason permission is hard to get is because many people dont.
