Home insurance advice.

Found out that even though the daughter had thousands in the bank, she let her home insurance expire. The people coming out to do an estate sale and home repairs will not do it without insurance. Regular home owners insurance is expensive. Is there any kind of 6 month liability insure for a situation like this?

Lapsed insurance on a home in oklahoma will make it hard to get insurance as there are only a handful of carriers that will insure a home in oklahoma.

For the estate sale people None of their business if a home is insured or not same goes for the repair guy.
He should have his own insurance in case something goes wrong.
I gave you a number of a repair guy.
You did not call him.

Only reason I have not called him is because we need to get all the crap out first and the first estate sale people fell thru. As soon as we get close to it being ready we plan to call him.

From a liability perspective, they want the coverage so they can sue if something should go wrong. From a property coverage perspective, it shouldn't make any difference to them.
