As you know by now, cooking is one of my hobbies. For me, it's really fun to cook and share with my family and friends. People get intimidated by the idea of cooking some very easy foods. Homemade pizza is something I've been making for a very long time.

No fancy pizza pans for me. I've been cooking pizzas on foil since being an oven runner at Crystal's Pizza 30 years ago...

2 1/2 cups flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons fast rising yeast (or fast rise, 1 envelope)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup very warm water (120 to 130 degrees)
2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 cup Pizza sauce
4 cups mozarella
1 lb sausage, browned

Mix 1 cup flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Add water and oil. Add 1 cup of flour until dough is sticky. Place dough on a work surface and knead in remaining 1/2 cup flour until dough is smooth. Cover with plastic and let rise 15 min. Heat oven to 425. Pat out dough on to foil, poke holes with a fork, cover with plastic and let rise 15 min. Spread on sauce and 2 cups of cheese. Add sausage and the remaining cheese. Place on lowest rack in oven or pizza stone and back for 10-12 min.
