So? Can you have too many magazines or too much ammo of a given caliber
I have about 15 mags for my Glock. 3 are used for carry (and rotated every six months or so). The rest get used for the range and USPSA. I can tell you for competition, it's nice not to have to load mags between stages.
As for ammo, I don't know. I keep trying to stockpile, but I go through it about as fast as I can afford to buy it. If you're stockpiling for calibers you don't have a gun in, that may be too much.

Well glock mags i am falling behind in, but I do have 17 pmags and would like to get another 13 and as far as burning ammo as fast as you can afford it I completely understand.

i have 3 pmags and 1 steel mag all full and try to have around 500 of rounds on hand.

Hey, I'm up to 13 now.
I probably got 8-10 Glock mags and close to 25 P-Mags.
how big of a bed does your pick up have ?
when your pick up is almost full, .................your almost there
