I posted this firearm for sale a couple days ago and haven’t received any bites; thus, I’m wondering if my asking price is too high. There isn’t much info out there about the value of comparable ‘69 AK’s, so I’m curious what you expert AK guys value this rifle at as it is pictured. Thanks.

From my experience, this community is not an AK community. If I am wrong please correct me. I would suggest joining AKfiles.com, GunBroker, or many other web forums just from my opinion only and luck. You will have better luck with sells/trade offers specific to the AK platform. This site is great don't get me wrong, but in all honesty, it leans more towards pistols, AR platforms, and some other miscellaneous platforms, and collectibles.
Don't give up there is hope!
Also, the worth is what a person would pay for it to own it. I see parts kits sell for $1900 and up, and then you have to have skills or a trusted builder to assemble the kit. True collectors will pay top dollar for ak's since they are in the know. Russian and banned import ak's are going for crazy insane prices because the importation of these are dried up and no longer coming into the country.

It's a parts kit build from an American company built by someone other than Jim Fuller, Bryan Black, or Brandon Herrera, and it isn't the "Iraqi Tabuk Clone" that Two Rivers is known for. Still a really cool rifle though. I would say probably $2000-$2500. For what it's worth, Gun Broker has 100% earned the name Gun Joker because the prices are ridiculous on there

Last piece of advice at no charge.
Pay special attention to the timing of your add.
If it's winter time, more than likely people are recovering from Christmas spending and will likely not be in the market for a $3,000 AK.
First of the year is typically also harsh due to bills stacking up. Sometimes you can find deals with people offloading what they bought during the year to pay for their bill coming due or medical, etc etc...
Tax refund time of the year is usually the best to offload some of your high dollar end goods. Countless dollars flowing with no remorse. Summertime, hit and miss people usually drop $5k on a family vacation and have no rom for a weapon purchase.
Lastly, pay close attention to your potential audience. If the community buys sells beanie babies and things of that nature at gun shows, there may not be a market for AK's..... If you had beanie babies collection you could ask whatever you wanted for it and folks would buy it up.
Good luck!

Gun Joker maybe a joke but it's what people are asking versus what people are paying. I've never seen a $3k AK sell on this forum since 2009. Unless it was an official VEPR from Russia signed by Mikhail himself. Your other forum options is the best bet.

What the others have said; like with collector-grade M1 Garands, there aren’t many people on the forum who have both the keen interest AND the funds to buy such firearms. I’ve listed prime examples of Garands here and gotten no takers, but when I took those firearms to the Wanenmacher show, they sold fast. Sometimes before I’d even entered the building. I’ve also listed arsenal rebuilt Garands here at the going rate, and they sold in fairly short order. Just the conflation of interest and money that limits the local market.

IMO, most anything under $1k can sell fast here. After that, the market drops off fairly quickly with available AND interested buyers here on this site. That’s not to say that some don’t sell above that or we don’t have financially qualified individuals here, but most of us are either working class stiffs with families or retired guys living on limited funds.
Better luck at GB and AR15.com in the AK section. Those dudes spend some serious coin.
But, I really have no answer as to what your beautiful AK is worth.
