How can you say not true, yet confirm that counting pills is a company policy a few sentences later?
Of course it's to confirm that the patient is not overdosed or underdosed or some pills were stolen by someone.
Nobody mentioned anything about doctors being jailed?
2 different topics. Not true that the doc will go to jail for giving 1 extra pill to a hospice patient.
Your post #135 agreed that the doc goes to jail. You said “this is true” to a post about doc going to jail.
I was responding to that. That’s the main point.
The pill counting is a separate topic I just added an anecdote about families that like to take patients drugs.

Crazy families are a common theme in healthcare. Family members revoking a DNR on dying grandma (who they live with) because they need her SS check to pay the rent. The stories are endless.
