Good grief folks. I'm laughing so hard over all of this I almost lost body fluids. My first thought was, hey it is just hair and he's not your kid. Second thought, buy him a bicycle and enter him in the Tour de France...this way the shaving will not be noticed. Oh, I think I would stand in line, in the cold and pay for the pics...Sorry!

LOL ... you guys ... If I won't let GC take pics (and I won't) what makes ya'll think I'm gonna let somebody else take pics?? GC doesn't need pics, he's got the real deal staring him in the face every night. And unlike many, many women on this planet I do NOT think I'm anything even approaching attractive enough to not cause folks to gag when they see a pic of me. There is something to be said for realizing your strengths and weaknesses ... I'm pretty realistic about why I didn't have a career as a super model ... or any kind of model for that matter ... :wink2:

I'm an open book guys ... but it's the unillustrated version ... ;)

Back when I was shooting matches pretty regularly Paul Abel had a match that a group of us shot pretty regularly. I was, as usual, the only woman out there one cold, windy, winter Sunday with a fairly good-sized group of fellas ... all of them with just about the same rather warped sense of humor I have.

Anyway ... there was this one stage where you started with you back to the targets, hands at surrender and then when the RO beeped you, you were to pivot, draw and fire ... SO ...

I take my jacket off, jiggle my shoulders to take the chill off and do my usual routine which consists of me getting my feet set, looking down at the ground and taking a couple of deep breaths and then nodding I'm ready. As Paul says "Shooter are you ready?" I raise my eyes from the ground to nod my head and see this line of men in front of me who look like this ...

:shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked:

Paul leans into me, grins and says "That's quite a strategy you got there sister!"

Not knowing what the stages were gonna be that day I had put on my warmest long-sleeved thermal t-shirt ... Which just happened to be white.

:pms2: It's a good thing for me I'm not embarrassed by much or else I'd have crawled under the nearest rock and would probably still be there! As it was we had a GREAT laugh at my expense!! Man, I miss shooting with those fellas!! :kiss:

The best thing you can do for any child is accept and love them, regardless of how they are. Lead from the front an judge not one.
I agree. Tell him when he gets older that we live in a world where everyone wants to judge, but never want to be judged. Tell him no matter what he does, someone with a ton of their own faults will find things wrong with him. Tell him that this is why it is important to not give a damn about what others think. Tell him that if he works hard, treats people right, and does not judge others, he will be the better man. Let him be a kid for now.

But Bunny, the pics would be 'tastefully' done... I'd even use my new 3D camera. ;)

We could also do a I-Phone version.... something like this...

My family has a standing offer... you can have a tattoo, peircing or whatever else "the other kids" are doing.

But... I get to pick what it is and where it goes. My treat.

Seems a Tinkerbelle tat on the forehead is a game changer...
