I have that setup, snagged it around the holidays for a little less. I use it for all of the extra stuff for my DJ setup, cords, cables, adapters, you name it. Super handy to roll in with instead of the tubs I used to use.

So, the Ridgid sold to plumbers is not made by the same company as the battery branded tools. Wether TTI owns Ridgid or just makes them under license for HD, I’m not 100% sure: Power Tool Manufacturers and Who Really Owns Them - 2023

I don't have any of the new Milwaukee or Rigid stuff, just what I bought in the 80's until Y2K when the new company bought all of my tools to be used on the job so mine could go home. Both are solid heavy-duty tool brands that will work when others break.
Rigid always had the best calendars!

The only Ridgid power tool I have is a 5" RO Sander. At the time I bought it, we used it a lot. So much so that I used the warranty several times on it, that impressed me, unquestioned free replacement, just go get another one off the shelf. The fact that it died so quickly did not. A couple of years ago I bought a Bosch RO that has significantly more performance than the Ridgid and other hand held sanders in that class. The Ridgid and a couple of DeWalts just sit in a drawer now.
