I have been shooting at a buddies place in Watonga and the canadian river (creek) passes through the property and when it's up you can't drive across it.

I told him I have stuff at the house we can build a boat out of.
So 3 of us got to bending steel and then spray foamed and flex sealed this together.
The 2 other guys were skeptical but now can't wait to toss this in the drink and see if it floats.

Birchbark over light wood frame, hide or waxed canvas over light wood frame, caulked lathe wood over light wood frame, all worked fine. If your frame is sound, she oughta work.

If it doesn't work for designed purpose, would likely be good for a viking funeral.
