Just kidding. That was one of the best and helpful classes I've been too. Who was your instructor?

Yeah, it's funny because I was the oldest guy in the room...next to the instructor, Walt Birdsong. I probably wouldn't have stuck it out all week if anybody else woulda taught the class. Walt is one of us. He has the same ethics, the same sense of humor and he's a gun guy through and through.

I told the class, most of which were in their early to mid 30's that I was a rarity in law enforcement today because a) I've probably worked for more different agencies than anybody - 10 since 1989 - and b) I've been married TO THE SAME WOMAN for over 27 years and have never been divorced.

Well, now I'm mad as well. GED is another on my short list of members to meet. Need to arrange a meeting with JB and GED at the shop so I can knock two off my list at once.

As was said earlier, if your going for fa instructor practice now early and often and get LOTS of 50 yard shooting in.
Are they still using the PPC for instructor cert?

Yup. Good ol' PPC course. I haven't shot PPC or IPSC in years.
