When I was a kid, Mom would cut up hot dogs and cook them in a can or two of pork and beans. She called it “beanie weenies,” and served it with corn bread.

I can’t say she ever served any eggs on it, though.

That's exactly what my wife calls that. She will actually still make it on occasions.... I'm not a fan but I humor her . A little hot sauce makes her trip down memory lane eatable.
