I owe Rez an apology

We got kinda sideways and in the end I offered to meet and buy him a beer, coffee or whatever. Apparently the "or whatever" was taken as a threat by him. I meant soda or whatever you wanna drink.
There was more to it before hand and I apologize if I was disrespectful of this gentleman in any way.

I'd appreciate the gesture of this post more if it didn't ring hollow from the words spoken in the PM's and how I think it glosses the characterization and tone. I don't harbor animosity your way believe it or not, but starting off a PM with sentences that make it sound like you want a fight and then calling me a coward if I don't show up doesn't sound friendly. You may consider to be the same state of ambivalence we have always existed in for what that's worth.
