I owe Rez an apology

According to OSA rules when an apology is rejected the two people involved must be handcuffed together for 24 hours or until the disagreement is settled.

This made me think of a good plot. Chenry is the seasoned grizzled cop. Rough around the edges. Rez is the new guy. He's young, idealistic, by the book. They clash right away. Rez reports him to the supervisor. They have it out but are told to work it out. Eventually there's another cop that tries to frame Rez and Chenry stands up for him. In the end Chenry has thanksgiving with the Rez family and even shows up in skinny jeans driving a Prius.

We got kinda sideways and in the end I offered to meet and buy him a beer, coffee or whatever. Apparently the "or whatever" was taken as a threat by him. I meant soda or whatever you wanna drink.
There was more to it before hand and I apologize if I was disrespectful of this gentleman in any way.
