The entire premise for this ridiculous excuse-for-a-movie [that California and Texas, of all states(!), would become allies] is absolutely ludicrous. And, at least according to the trailer, the rest of the movie gets exponentially-more Leftist as it goes downhill from there. Rightfully, it probably should be classified as a comedy.

But I still won't waste my time watching that worthless pile of horse manure.
Your way more optimistic than I

It’s almost like they want to spark another civil war. :(

Today's situation isn't as clear cut as the last Civil War. The main issues then were 1) Slavery, 2) Taxes, 3) Disbursement of said taxes.

There are so many different agendas today. There really isn't a specific set of things that make it us against them. Maybe East and West coasts against the middle states?? Maybe Dems against Reps??

"I have seen the enemy, and it is us."

That quote is from a (half-century) old - and highly-political - comic strip. It was spoken by the little possum named "Pogo."
This is also from a Pogo comic strip. I memorized it many years ago. Recite it to your wife or girlfriend occasionally to let her know how special she is!

The Butterfly of Love

The butterfly of love flew by, and waved his little paw.
Says he to me, "I think I'll stop and have myself a chaw."
Whereupon he hit the brakes, and lit upon a flower.
Bit off a chunk o' pollen there, which he then did devour.

Looking round, he piped aloud, "Aha! A cuspidor!"
And spat into a buttercup down on the forest floor.
And though that lil' drop of spit were sweet as honeydew,
They'll never, ever, be no spit
As sweet, m'love as you!

Someone remind me on valentines day and I will post this again. :pms2:

Alas, true love doesn’t spit.
